What is the aim/objective? 
The report / policy is concerned with positioning Ireland as an international innovation hub. Creation of an innovation ecosystem underpinned by policy, finance, education, regulation and R&D.

Deliver investment framework set out in national govt. Strategy for Science, Technology & Innovation (SSTI 2006-2013) - Invest 3% of GDP in R&D in updated SSTI 2014-2020) - Ensure greater co-ordinated public research investment - market Ireland as a centre of excellence for innovation - Increased availability of venture capital (incl. seed capital, tax initiatives and business angel funds) -Promotion of education and entrepreneurial skills through all levels of education system - Strengthen linkages between education and industry - Infrastructure - high quality broadband and physical infrastructures.
