What is the aim/objective? 
MECHATREC is a cluster created by INCDMTM in 2012 and is a part of clustero.eu. The cluster main objective is to support innovation and technology transfer in the member companies, fostering economic competitiveness nationwide and abroad, promoting a policy of cooperation, both within the cluster and with other external organizations, based on a common strategy.
Give an overview of the practice 
Mechatronic Regional Cluster - MECHATREC is built on the principles and concepts of European structures type "triple helix model", which bring together bodies in research, industry and local government. "MECHATREC" Cluster actually develops the "innovative scientific cluster - NanoMecatronica" initiated in 2008. The cluster structure contains 33 SMEs, 8 research institutes (NIRDs and ICs), 3 universities, 3 administration bodies, 2 chambers of commerce, 3 centers of training, assessment and transfer. MECHATREC aims to increase economic competitiveness nationwide and abroad, promoting a policy of cooperation, both within the cluster and with other external organizations, based on a common strategy; coordination in defining common strategic objectives and specific actions, to achieve the proposed objectives; developing a common framework for the transfer of know-how and cooperation between partners in research - development of new products and advanced technologies; participation in various forms of association, in cooperation with other organizations, both domestic and international applications in projects of common interest; collaboration with local authorities, regional and central authorities, in order to ensure sustainable development of the area; unitary development of all activities related to the established purpose.
