What is the aim/objective? 
Enhancing innovation and technology transfer to industry and economy, to companies and SMEs and supporting their development in the context of competition in domestic and European markets.
Give an overview of the practice 
The Technology Transfer and Consulting Centre was developed thanks to INFRATECH Programme in 2004, for ensuring technology transfer towards industry and economy, economical agents, etc., autonomous administrations, and SMEs and ensuring their development in the context of competition on international and European markets; increasing performance of experts in technology transfer; establishing partnerships in complex transfer and innovation projects; mix consortia and TT bodies, as well as other economical bodies will be formed (R&D institutes, universities, traders and SMES) and take part in complex projects for developing "transfer poles" with the major objective to develop technology transfer by implementing and multiplying results of research and development, in production, on local zones with prospects for extending on various geographical areas; ensuring capacity increase, by national and international participations with infrastructure projects; of management development, continuous training, dissemination, valorization and transfer of high added-value products.
