What is the aim/objective? 
Help the University of Porto Science and Technology Park - UPTEC's young researchers and entrepreneurs to acquire new management skills to: 1 - Define the company's strategy; 2 - Define key performance indicators; 3 - Define and monitoring the milestones; 4 - Redesign critical processes with the greatest impact on results; 5 - Define the marketing strategy; broaden the horizons through contact with best management practices; 6 - Collect a history that allows foster the creation of case studies.
Give an overview of the practice 
The program promotes three types of activities: 1 – Open lessons - Provide the entrepreneurs of knowledge in areas such as marketing, finance, accounting, law, etc. 2 – Individual coaching and mentoring - this program is assigned to companies previously selected by a competition. Each selected firm is accompanied by a period of 6 months by a mentor and follows the algorithm set to progress with work in a perspective of sharing and gathering knowledge.; 3 – Focused sessions and case studies - Ad hoc support for companies that have specific needs and the creation of case studies. In this case, there's no need for application. The interested parties go directly to the UPTEC direction, which will analyze the need, and then redirect to the EGP (the University of Porto's business school.
